While her resume lists the roles of art director, senior designer, digital designer and photographer, Hilary has also contributed to project management, UX design, strategy, web development, copy, and account management. She spent her pandemic years honing her skills as a front-end developer (and knitting sweaters for her dog). Her enthusiasm as a generalist empowers her to be nimble and successful in both large and small teams. Above all else, she is purpose-driven and loves when her professional work overlaps with her volunteer work in social and economic equality.

In all aspects of her life, Hilary is driven by curiosity and a quest for knowledge. She's an avid skier and hiker, multi-instrumentalist, printmaker, car enthusiast, and maker. She has traveled solo for nearly half a year, swam between the two tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia, and rescued a person from a misadventure in a swift-moving river. She feels most grounded outdoors or when she's forging connections with strangers.
